Indian Classical Arts in Sacramento
Celebrating the rich traditions of Indian classical music, dance, and performing arts at Sac Valley Margazhi
Classical Arts Festival
Sac Valley Margazhi is Sacramento's premier festival dedicated to Indian classical arts. Inspired by the traditional Margazhi season celebrated in South India, our festival brings together artists, audiences, and communities in a shared celebration of music, dance, and devotion.
The festival showcases various forms of Indian classical performing arts including Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music, Odissi, Kuchipudi, and more. We provide a platform for both established and emerging artists to share their talents with the Sacramento community.
